Jesus Talks with a Samaritan Woman (Part 4)

“Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ,[a] the Savior of the world.” (John 4:42)
We find a significant principle for evangelism. We do not get saved by knowing the information.
The information of the gospel must lead us to the point which we experience Christ personally. Those who came forth to hear Jesus' word said, "We now saw Jesus and heard His word. Now, we believe in Jesus. He is the Christ and the Saviour."
We have to remember that Jesus' name means 'God is our Saviour'. These people experienced Jesus personally, and heard His voice. Therefore, now they see that Jesus is our Saviour.
