The Truth Will Set You Free (Part 3)

Jesus' teaching was totally different from what people have been hearing from other religious leaders.
In those days, religious leaders never enhanced their own reputation because then, people might have criticized them. Johh the Baptist also did not enhance his own reputation.
When People asked, "Are you Elijah?" he answered, "no". John the Baptist called himself 'a voice in the wilderness'. He was humble and never raised his authority.
But Jesus clearly demonstrated of Himself becuase He is the Truth.
In fact, Jesus' teaching was different from the teachings taught by other teachers in those days.
People were stunned by His teaching.
Jesus has the authorty and is the authority. He is the Truth. If He says, "I have no authority." the word becomes a lie.
Therefore, when Jesus speaks, He says it with the authority; "I tell you the Truth...." Jesus never spoke sugar-coated words for them to believe in Him nor lied.
